Pane Di Pasqua is Italian for “Easter Bread”.  The wreath symbolizes the crown that Jesus wore on the cross and the colored egg represents the resurrection of Christ and a rebirth of the spring season.  We’ve always seen these creations but never taken the time to try and make one.

Since we have naturally colored eggs, we thought this was the perfect year to try our hand at this tradition.  We looked online at several different recipes and landed on this one because it looked to be the most straightforward.  Hoping that it’s not a Pinterest fail as it does take some time and patience, but we’re going to pour a Mimosa and give it a whirl!  We’d love to see how yours turn out if you also try them!
