Lexington School District One will start Kindergarten on a staggered start for the 2024-2025 academic school year. We are offering Kindergarten farm days for students who will not be in school August 7, 8 or 9. Days will be a mix of fun and education. Think of these days as a bridge between summer camp and school starting.
Pumpkin Camp at The FARM 1780 is for elementary & middle school children. Campers will experience the fall season on the FARM & it provides you an opportunity to continue with a regular routine on Friday when school is closed while your children are entertained.
Summer Camp at The FARM! This camp is designed for rising 6th and 7th graders and runs Monday - Thursday from 9:00 - 5:00 PM. After Camp options available. Thursday overnight camp is an optional add-on (additional fee) Registration closes on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 or once all slots are filled.
Summer Camp at The FARM! This camp is designed for ages 9 - 11 and runs Monday - Thursday from 9:00 - 5:00 PM. After Camp options available. Registration closes on Monday, June 9, 2025 or once all slots are filled.

A Bridge Between Summer Camp and Kindergarten
Whether your child is part of Lexington One’s staggered start—or you homeschool, attend a private school, or are enrolled in another district—Kindergarten Farm Days are open to all rising kindergarteners (ages 4–6) looking for a fun, educational way to kick off the school year.
Join us for our first-ever Homeschool Day designed to give homeschool families an immersive, hands-on farm experience right in Lexington County—home to the area’s only locally grown pumpkin patch.
An Old Fashioned Christmas Camp at The FARM 1780 is for elementary school children. Campers will experience the winter season on the FARM & it provides you an opportunity to put finishing touches on your Christmas plans while your children are entertained.
Join us for a Spring Homeschool Day: Earth Day Edition, where students step into the rhythms of a true generational farm, learning by doing as they explore the plants, animals, soil, and systems that make farm life possible.
The FARM 1780's May 18th Homeschool Day invites families to explore what happens on a working farm as crops grow, berries develop, and animals settle into the season. This day offers brand-new lessons and activities—perfect for students who joined us in April and those joining us for the first time.
