We’re excited to welcome you to one of our most special events of the year—our Annual Harvest Dinner, part of our farm-to-table dinner series that celebrates the best of fall’s bounty.

This year’s dinner is truly one-of-a-kind: a collaboration between Chef Fred Neuville—founder of the iconic Fat Hen and former executive chef at Coast Bar and Grill and Rue de Jean in Charleston—and our very own Executive Chef Brian Nelson, owner and chef at Keg Cowboy.

Fred and Brian go way back—Brian worked under Fred years ago, and when Fred visited The FARM this February to help celebrate Brian’s 50th birthday, the idea for this unforgettable evening was born.

Fred is now retired, making this chef pairing dinner an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy his cooking alongside Brian’s. Even better, ingredients for the night’s menu are being custom grown right here at The FARM 1780.

Expect more than just a meal—this is an experience. Great food, fresh air, and two chefs swapping stories, sharing laughs, and creating an evening that’s as much about the connection as it is about the incredible flavors.

More About Chef Fred Neuville:
Chef Fred Neuville is a celebrated figure in Charleston’s culinary scene, known for his French-inspired Southern cuisine and dedication to fresh, local ingredients. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he has helmed acclaimed kitchens including 39 Rue de Jean, Coast Bar and Grill, and the beloved Fat Hen on Johns Island. Fred’s passion for authentic flavors and seasonal cooking made him a pioneer of Charleston’s farm-to-table movement. Now retired, he occasionally returns to the kitchen for special events, bringing his signature warmth and culinary magic to unforgettable meals.

More About Chef Brian Nelson:
Chef Brian Nelson is the Executive Chef of Farm Crafted Events and owner of Keg Cowboy, a craft-ed kitchen on Lexington’s Main Street. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, Brian spent 17 years honing his craft in Charleston kitchens—including Rue de Jean and Fat Hen—under the mentorship of Chef Fred Neuville. At just 28, he opened his first restaurant, Park Circle Grill in North Charleston, before relocating to Lexington in 2010 to raise his family. Known for his passion for local ingredients and scratch-made cuisine, Brian brings a blend of Lowcountry tradition and creative flair to every dish he serves.
