Five Years Around the Table
In the fall of 2021, we officially opened The FARM 1780 with a Farm-to-Table Dinner.
Five years later, we’re still gathering around the table.
This fall’s dinner marks the fifth anniversary of one of our signature events and we’re celebrating with the return of South Carolina Chef Ambassador Chris Williams, who joins the Farm Crafted Events team for a special evening on the farm.
If you joined us when Chris cooked at The FARM 1780 last year, you already know why we’re excited to welcome him back. This family-style meal is inspired by the season and built around what’s being grown, harvested and raised right here on the farm.
And when we say farm-to-table, we mean it.
Much of what you’ll eat throughout the evening is grown or raised here on our eighth-generation family farm. What we don’t produce ourselves, we work to source directly from other local and South Carolina farms. That means fewer middlemen, fresher ingredients and more of your food dollars going directly to the farmers who grew it.
For five years, these dinners have been about more than what’s on the plate. They’re about knowing where your food came from, hearing the story behind it and enjoying it right here on the farm.
Your ticket includes a coursed, family-style dinner with wines selected to complement the meal and poured tableside throughout the evening.
The menu will be announced closer to the dinner as we see what the season has in store.
Five years. One table. And a pretty special reason to gather around it again.
