What to Expect at The FARM 1780

When you visit our Pumpkin Patch in Lexington SC, you’re stepping into a family farm that blends tradition, fun, and community. Here’s what you’ll find when you spend the day with us this fall:

🎃 You-Pick Pumpkin Patch

Lexington’s only locally grown pumpkin patch! Head out to the field and pick your own pumpkin straight from the vine, or browse our pre-harvested selection at the FARMstand if you’d rather skip the hunt. Bring your own wagon to make carrying pumpkins easier. Whether you’re decorating your front porch, carving a jack-o’-lantern, or baking a pie, we’ve got pumpkins in all shapes and sizes to fit your fall traditions.

Pumpkin Pricing: Prices vary by size and start around $6 with larger carving pumpkins typically ranging $12–$20. Heirlooms & Giant pumpkins are available while supplies last.

Pumpkin Painting Station: Once you’ve picked your pumpkin, stop by our painting station where kids can decorate their pumpkins and take home a one-of-a-kind creation.

🌸 U-Pick Flowers & Grapes

Flowers: Everything from sunflowers, zinnias, pampas plume, and more allow you to create a beautiful bouquet for just $10. Borrow snips from the FARMstand and fill a stadium cup with as many stems as you can fit. Bring back your previous cup and enjoy a $1 discount.

Grapes (through early October): Our muscadine and scuppernong grapes are priced by the quart:

1st quart: $5.50

2nd quart: $4.25

3rd or more: $3.00 each

These seasonal u-pick offerings are available until the vines and fields are picked out, so come early for the best selection.

🏰 Family Fun & Kids’ Activities

Children’s Play Area with space to run, climb and explore

Pumpkin Putt-Putt and Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe for fall-themed games

Fall Selfie Station for capturing the perfect autumn photo with family or friends

These activities are included with your visit and make the farm a place where kids can play while parents relax.

🍻 FARMstand Bar & Food

Stop by the FARMstand Bar for craft beer, wine, and soft drinks, plus farm-crafted snacks and light eats. On Saturdays, we also serve hot food and play the Carolina and Clemson football games (or other matchups if they’re not playing). It’s a great way to enjoy a fall Saturday — pumpkins for the kids, football for the adults, and good food for everyone.

🐓 A True Working Farm Experience

As you explore, remember that The FARM 1780 is a living, working farm. You may see chickens scratching in the fields, crops growing, or even our working dogs on duty protecting livestock and crops. For everyone’s safety, please don’t approach or pet the dogs — they’re here to work, not to play.
