Homeschool Day Fall 2025
October 13 @ 9:00 am – 11:30 am
Monday, October 13 | $12 per child (ages 2+) | Parents attend free
Join us for our first-ever Homeschool Day at The FARM 1780! This special event is designed to give homeschool families an immersive, hands-on farm experience right in Lexington County—home to the area’s only locally grown pumpkin patch.
Students will rotate through engaging stations that combine fun with education, all built around South Carolina Academic Standards for K–7th learners.
Includes a pumpkin to take home!
Activities include:
- 🌱 Life Science & Earth Science: Explore soil, seeds, plants, and weather through farm-based experiments and observation.
- 🐔 Animal Science: Interact with chickens and learn about their life cycle and role on the farm.
- 🎃 Agriculture & Math in Action: Discover how pumpkins grow, measure them in the patch, and connect real-world farming with life concepts.
- 🎨 Creative Play: Crafts, farm games, and storytelling to spark imagination while reinforcing what they learn.
What to Bring: Packed lunch, refillable water bottle, and clothes/shoes ready for outdoor play.
Parents attend free—so you can learn alongside your kids or simply enjoy watching them explore. Think of it as a field trip with no bus required.
Space is limited to 40 children to ensure the best hands-on experience. Reserve your child’s spot today and experience fall on the farm in the most hands-on way possible. If your children are pre-school aged and not homeschooled, this is also the perfect day for them to attend!
