Our 2nd Annual Harvest Dinner is a farm-to-table dining experience you don’t want to miss! This family-style meal is served with wines (and beers!) chosen to complement the dishes. This will be a German inspired four-course meal prepared by Chef Scott Hall.
The menu has been planned with a focus on combining two culinary traditions: southern fare & traditional german recipes. You won’t find an experience like this anywhere else in the Midlands. With a focus on Lexington German family recipes that celebrate the Saxe Gotha German heritage, you’ll be taken back to a time in Lexington’s history that reminds you of the “times that once were”.
Welcome Appetizer & Drinks: FARM 1780 pickled produce, beer cheeses & bread with beer and wine served during “cocktail hour”
1st Course: Bread & Pastry Boards and Autumn Market Salad
2nd Course: Smoked sausage, sauerkraut & cornbread (a Corley family favorite), Gurkensalat, and Smoked Salmon on Potato Pancake
3rd Course: Chicken Schnitzel, Roasted Sausages, Roasted Vegetables, and German Smashed Potato Salad
Dessert Course: Apple Galette
