SUMMARY:Hen's Night Out: Fall U-Pick Flower Night
DESCRIPTION:2026 is our fourth year of Hen’s Night Out at The FARM 1780.  This has now become a signature event.  Grab your best chicks and celebrate fall with us!  This will be the last Hen’s Night Out of 2026. It will include wine that’s perfect for the changing season! These wines will be featured alongside a chaceuterie board with fresh farm grown accoutrements.Your ticket also includes a visit to our u-pick flower field where you can create a mini-bouquet to enjoy. \n\n\n\nWhat is Hen’s Night Out? \n\n\n\nIt’s a drinking with chickens event!  On a trip to Key West\, I saw this image in the bathroom of the historic Sloppy Joe’s bar and it inspired me to create this series of events at The FARM.  I had been dreaming about a drinking with chickens event for several years and this was just the sign I needed to pull it together!  It’s an excuse to get together with friends & family (or even meet some new people!)\, enjoy the outdoors\, and experience fun on The FARM. \n\n\n\nHen’s Night Out is hosted at the FARMstand bar.  You’ll be surrounded by hens in our blueberry field. \n\n\n\nEach ticket includes a farm-crafted cheese board with farm-fresh fruit and pickled items as well as bottomless wine (wine chosen to complement the cheese board). September includes u-pick flowers as well. \n\n\n\nWhat people have to say about Hen’s Night Out: \n\n\n\n“It was the coolest experience and I would definitely do it again.” \n\n\n\n“Had a wonderful time. Loved the setting and the small group.” \n\n\n\n“Didn’t know what to expect but y’all didn’t disappoint! Atmosphere was great\, food was incredible\, and the wine was yummy too! Thank you so much for putting this on – Lexington needed this!!” \n\n\n\nThis is a 21+ only event!  Men are welcome (but only if you can handle it!). \n\n\n\nBy purchasing a ticket you understand that all sales are final and subject to our Event Terms of Use.  If you do not agree with these terms\, please do not purchase a ticket. Due to the nature of the event\, dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. Gratuity is not included\, but appreciated. \n

SUMMARY:Homeschool Fall Days
DESCRIPTION:Two days. One connected\, hands-on learning experience.\n\n\n\nLet the farm do the lesson planning this fall.\n\n\n\nCome to the farm in September to begin the learning. Return in October to see what changed\, build on those discoveries and take home a pumpkin from Lexington County’s only locally grown pumpkin patch. \n\n\n\nHomeschool Fall Days is one fall learning experience that unfolds across two visits: Tuesday\, September 29\, and Tuesday\, October 27. Students will explore the farm in September\, then return a month later to discover what has changed and build on what they learned. \n\n\n\nThis isn’t the same program offered twice. The lessons and activities will connect across both days\, giving children the chance to observe real seasonal change instead of simply reading about it. \n\n\n\nAnd for parents? It’s an engaging fall field trip already planned for you—with opportunities to connect with other homeschool families while your children learn\, move and explore. \n\n\n\nWhat Your $30 Registration Includes\n\n\n\nOne registration covers the entire two-part experience: \n\n\n\n\nAdmission for one student on both September 29 and October 27\n\n\n\nHands-on lessons and activities that build across both visits\n\n\n\nLife science\, earth science\, animal science\, agriculture and practical math\n\n\n\nReading\, writing and comprehension activities connected to the fall farm experience\n\n\n\nTime to explore\, create and learn alongside other homeschool students\n\n\n\nOne pumpkin for each registered student to take home in October\n\n\n\nFree admission for parents and chaperones\n\n\n\n\nThat’s two educational farm days and a pumpkin for $30 per student. \n\n\n\nLearning They Can See\, Touch and Remember\n\n\n\nA working farm gives children the opportunity to experience concepts that can be difficult to bring to life at home. \n\n\n\nStudents won’t just talk about plants\, animals\, weather and the changing seasons. They’ll encounter those things firsthand. They’ll make observations in September and return in October to compare\, ask new questions and discover what happened next. \n\n\n\nAcross the two visits\, activities will include: \n\n\n\nLife Science and Earth Science\n\n\n\nExplore plants\, soil\, weather and seasonal change through hands-on investigation and observation. \n\n\n\nAnimal Science\n\n\n\nInteract with chickens while learning about their life cycle\, care and role on the farm. \n\n\n\nAgriculture and Math in Action\n\n\n\nDiscover how pumpkins grow and use measuring\, counting\, estimating and comparing in a real-world setting. \n\n\n\nReading\, Writing and Comprehension\nBuild literacy skills through a fall-themed story\, group discussion and connected reading and writing activities. \n\n\n\nCreative Learning and Play\n\n\n\nReinforce the day’s lessons through crafts\, storytelling\, movement and farm games. \n\n\n\nDesigned for Homeschool Families and Co-ops\n\n\n\nHomeschool Fall Days is created specifically for individual homeschool families and co-op groups looking for a meaningful shared learning experience. \n\n\n\nPreschool-aged siblings are welcome to register\, too—even if they have not officially started homeschooling. \n\n\n\nParents stay with their children and attend at no charge. You’re welcome to learn alongside them\, help younger children participate or simply enjoy seeing where their curiosity takes them. \n\n\n\nDates and Pricing\n\n\n\nTuesday\, September 29\, 2026Tuesday\, October 27\, 2026 \n\n\n\n$30 per student for both dates \n\n\n\nRegistration is required and includes the complete two-part program. Families are registering for both September and October—not choosing between the two dates. \n\n\n\nParents and chaperones attend free. \n\n\n\nSpace is limited to 40 students so children have room to participate\, explore and get their hands into the learning. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring\n\n\n\nEach student should bring: \n\n\n\n\nA refillable water bottle\n\n\n\nWeather-appropriate clothing\n\n\n\nClosed-toe shoes that can handle a working farm\n\n\n\nA picnic lunch (if desired) – programming will end at 11:30 and families may eat on-site and depart by noon.
