DESCRIPTION:Our 2nd Annual Harvest Dinner is a farm-to-table dining experience you don’t want to miss!  This family-style meal is served with wines (and beers!) chosen to complement the dishes.  This will be a German inspired four-course meal prepared by Chef Scott Hall. \nThe menu has been planned with a focus on combining two culinary traditions: southern fare & traditional german recipes.  You won’t find an experience like this anywhere else in the Midlands.  With a focus on Lexington German family recipes that celebrate the Saxe Gotha German heritage\, you’ll be taken back to a time in Lexington’s history that reminds you of the “times that once were”. \nWelcome Appetizer & Drinks: FARM 1780 pickled produce\, beer cheeses & bread with beer and wine served during “cocktail hour” \n1st Course: Bread & Pastry Boards and Autumn Market Salad \n2nd Course: Smoked sausage\, sauerkraut & cornbread (a Corley family favorite)\, Gurkensalat\, and Smoked Salmon on Potato Pancake \n3rd Course: Chicken Schnitzel\, Roasted Sausages\, Roasted Vegetables\, and German Smashed Potato Salad \nDessert Course: Apple Galette \nWhat people have to say about Farm-to-Table Dinners at The FARM 1780: \n“It was a beautiful evening from start to finish.” \n“It was all delicious and learning about the food was our favorite part (how it was prepared/stored\, who made it\, the freshness\, why ingredients were chosen\, etc.). DESCRIPTION:Join us during regular FARMstand hours on Sunday\, October 16th for a Sunday Funday on The FARM!  Sunday Funday runs from 11 am – 4 pm.  The FARMstand will have fresh produce\, fruit\, and pumpkins available for purchase.  Other vendors will also be on-site with their products for purchase. \nThis is a free event open to the public. Parking is limited and on an as-available basis.  Should on-site parking fill up\, you can park along Meadowbrook Lane (located directly across the street from the exit gate). \nSee below for all of the activities we’ll have available (and stay tuned on social & our website as we continue to add to the fun!) \nBounce in the Barnyard on The FARM 1780 \n  \nCome feed the goats and get a picture with the goats on The FARM \nFeed S’mores and Loca & get a picture!  The fancy chickens might even make an appearance!  $5 per child – available at 11\, 11:30\, 12\, 12:30\, 1\, 1:30\, 2\, 2:30\, 3\, and 3:30 (max of 4 children per slot) – buy tickets at The FARMstand \n  \nPick Your Own Pumpkin and Paint or Carve on-site! \nPick Your Own Pumpkin from the patch (or just purchase a pre-picked pumpkin at The FARMstand) & you can also paint or carve your pumpkin on-site (the activity is free\, but does require a pumpkin purchase). \nTake some selfies and get ready for fall on the farm! \nIn addition to our fall photo selfie spot\, we’ll also have activities like pumpkin tic-tac-toe\, coloring stations\, etc. \nOther Vendors: \n\nFood available from Cox Family BBQ\nFarm Crafted Events will have German beers\, Austrian Wine & a signature fall cocktail available for purchase\nStoney Creek Cigars\nCrazy Chic Heritage Farm\n\n  \n

A great way to get picky eaters to try something new. \n  \nTry fresh popcorn on the cob – grown right here in Lexington. You can buy cobs to take with you home as well! \n  \nA fun Halloween-themed game of pumpkin putt-putt! Challenge your family members or play with a new friend! \n  \nPurchase an apple from The FARMstand and DIY your own caramel apple slices.
